Digium Card Detection and Configuration 3 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Good Day

I have a digium card taken out of a trixbox system and want to configure on the elastix, it is the following card

03:01.0 ISDN controller: Digium, Inc. Wildcard B410 quad-BRI card (rev 01)

but elastix doesn't auto detect it?? What do I need to do??

Regards

Shawn

Elastix will not auto detect that card
You need to type setup at console and in services enable mISDN

Then do mISDN scan

Then mISDN config,this will generate the config files
Then you need to edit /etc/mISDN to suit your carrier config

Then when done edit /etc/asterisk/misdn.conf and config to suit what you need ,mine looks like this

[general]
misdn_init=/etc/mISDN.conf
debug=0
ntdebugflags=0
ntdebugfile=/var/log/mISDN.log
bridging=no
stop_tone_after_first_digit=yes
append_digits2exten=yes
dynamic_crypt=no
crypt_prefix=**
crypt_keys=test,muh

[default]
context=from-trunk
language=en
musicclass=default
senddtmf=yes
far_alerting=no
allowed_bearers=all
nationalprefix=0
internationalprefix=00
rxgain=0
txgain=0
te_choose_channel=no
pmp_l1_check=no
reject_cause=16
need_more_infos=no
nttimeout=no
method=standard
dialplan=0
localdialplan=0
cpndialplan=0
early_bconnect=yes
incoming_early_audio=no
nodialtone=no
presentation=-1
screen=-1
jitterbuffer=4000
jitterbuffer_upper_threshold=0
hdlc=no
echocancel=yes
echotraining=no

[TEports]
ports=1ptmp,2ptmp,3ptmp,4ptmp
context=from-trunk
msns=*

then in freepbx create a custom trunk like
misdn/g:TEports/$OUTNUM$

In Freepbx click on add trunk and where is says custom trunk add what I put there

Also you still might need to edit your mISDN depending if it is ptp or ptmp,but you will soon find out when you try calls

Ok..I follow you up to the "Add Custom Trunk"

But where in the fields are these settings added, are they added all to one field or to 3 different fields etc...

Confused a bit

Cheers

misdn/g:TEports/$OUTNUM$

The above is 1 complete line in custom trunk

Then on inbound routes create anyDID/anyCID to see if it works
